Does Metamorphosis help with Post Pregnancy Discoloration- Melasma?
The hyperpigmentation of cheeks, upper lip, chin and forehead known as the “mask of pregnancy” or melasma, can occur not just before or after birth, but also in women undergoing hormone therapy or taking birth control pills. Sometimes, even breakouts experienced during the menstrual cycle can lead to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
For many, melasma results in long-term superficial and deep staining. While Metamorphosis was designed with melasma in mind, at this point we have found that it can help with much of the more superficial discoloration, but deeper staining has been far more difficult to treat.
