Why do you caution against using other acid- and retinol- containing products while using Metamorphosis?

Metamorphosis has a very unique and potent blend of alpha-, beta-, and poly- hydroxy acids as well as retinol. As such, we do not want people to take the chance of causing excessive exfoliation, drying or peeling by using other retinol or acid containing products.
